NoSignal! A Community Exhibition explores community in a digital age, offering a way for us as designers to connect with the world. Visions of Self brings together a community of creatives who communicate their identity through fashion, makeup, music, and interior design. This idea is expressed through a universal medium: music albums. These albums are booklets that open up to reveal each person’s individual style; each booklet is unique to the person it is about, from the imagery down to the color palette and typography. Each album opens up a world of community through finding others with similar tastes, all while promoting human connection.
Behind the Scenes
Each participant filled out a Google form survey to establish their personal branding as a basis to accurately capture their style and personality through their fashion, homes, and music taste. In addition to requesting photos of their outfits, homes, and favorite songs, they were asked about what colors represent them and how they would describe their style.
The process began by editing out most of the backgrounds of the outfits and makeup/selfies I could, and establishing the color palettes based on the responses, in addition to listening to the songs

Empowering Women
The flower postcards are digitally designed, laser cut, and hand-stamped. The flowers chosen are the favorite flowers of the women in my life, and pay homage to them, as my original community idea was women supporting women. Each postcard is unique with different colors and compositions, just like each flower is unique.
The process consisted of drawing each flower using an image as a point of reference, then transferring the drawings to Illustrator using tools in the software to cut the design out of a black background, and formatting the design to be laser cut out of rubber stamping material. Each postcard is hand-stamped with some small hand-drawn details.
Book of Chaos
This is a sneak peek into a less refined version of my journey as an artist and designer, showing where I started up to my senior year of college. This simply shows the first half of the book leading up to the decision to pursue graphic design, as the full book is almost 200 pages.
